Hoof and horn fertilizer for garden plants

Hoof and horn fertilizer is the traditional slow release fertilizer used in gardening since the victorian times. As the name suggests its simply ground up anaimal bones and contains hoof and horns of cattle ect. It can burn the roots of plants especially root hairs so it best used by adding it to the base of a planting pit adding about half a hand full for a garden shrub and a handful for a garden tree. Then lightly fork it into the soil before planting the plant.
