Summer Catch Crops

Catch crops for the vegetable garden with your main crops underway now is a good time to sow a few catch crops in between the rows of your other crops such as carrots, beans and peas.

Good catch crops to sow in July, which will mature quickly are lettuce, radish and spring onions. All these crops will be ready in 4 to 8 weeks. Other catch crops you can sow are carrots and beetroot picked early as baby carrots or baby beetroots.
