Livingstonia Palm Tree.

May 12th, 2016 · No Comments

Livingstonia palm tree I think the atmosphere is too dry.It likes a shady position and is hardy to – 4 C. You could try to put it on a tray with gravel and water it so that it is not actually sitting in water but the humidity around it is increased.Another winter you might try over wintering it outside, depending where you are in the country. You could wrap it in horticultural fleece first to help protect if from the worst of the weather. For now I would keep it in the coolest room and out of direct sunlight.Once it is warmer and there is no danger of frost, cut off the dead looking leaves and hope that it will regrow.
