Mothers Day – In search of the perfect gift
Don’t forget Mothers day its more than your life is worth. Its easy to remember as it happens once a year, this year is on the 10th March. Mothers Day, sometimes known as Mothering Sunday, is held on the fourth Sunday of Lent. It is exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday
But Joking apart its not remembering the date that’s the problem its organising the perfect gift. You can always go with the old stand by Mothers Day gift of giving a bunch of flowers but after a few years this becomes rather predictable and boring. So if you Mum is in to gardening or has the itch to start gardening then this is your big chance to break the pattern and present your Mum with a gift that will last longer than a bunch of flowers.
One suggestion for a Mother day gift is the Fiskars Inspiration range of planting tools that cover all the essential needs of smaller gardening tasks Ideal for use in container gardens, balconies, small garden plots and allotments and because they are so pretty, just as perfect for indoor gardening.
Two types of single pivot hand pruners (with anvil and bypass cutting heads) are based on the design of Fiskars SingleStep pruners, red dot design award winner in 2011.There are also five planting tools – the trowel, transplanter, cultivator, weed fork and planters hoe are all made from lightweight and virtually unbreakable FiberComp™material.
Inspiration pruners have an RRP of £14.99.. Inspiration fork, trowel, cultivator and transplanter have an RRP of £4.99 each. The Fiskars Inspiration planter hoe has an RRP of £7.99.
Other suggestion for the perfect Mothers Day gift include signing your Mum up for our MyGardenTeam service to provide her with her own personal gardening expert online and on the spot advice with a home garden visit
Happy Mothers Day
